At Riddells Creek Primary School - Memorial Drive
Riddells Creek Farmers Market was established some time in the 2000’s by someone fantastic that nobody can quite remember.
The market is now run by a committee of passionate local volunteers and supported by our wonderful Market Manager. Each market has a great selection of locally grown or produced food and associated goods, plus coffee and food trucks, music and kids entertainment.
The market is a member of the Victorian Farmers Market Association, which means that most stallholders at our market comply with strict production rules ensuring quality local produce for you.
Where is the monthly Riddells Creek Farmers’ Market?
Riddells Creek Farmers Market is located at our wonderful local Primary School. The market extends alongside the school oval and playgrounds, so there is plenty of room for kids to play and ride their bikes while you do your shopping!
The front entrance to the market on Main Road is through beautiful historic wrought iron Memorial Gates. Rear access from Sutherlands Road has plenty of parking at the Tennis Club (near the Leisure Centre) and gives very easy access to the food court end of the market.
Getting here…
From Melbourne CBD it is approximately one hour to reach Riddells Creek via the Calder Highway. Alternatively you can take the M2 and C325 (this route has tolls).
From Bendigo, it takes 1.25 hours’ drive via the Midland Highway and Calder Highway.
You can also catch the comfortable VLine train from Melbourne’s Southern Cross Station or Bendigo. The Riddells Creek Train Station is within walking distance to the local pub, bakery and shopping centre. However if you wanted to explore further afield you would need a car.
